Concept
I discovered that a solar conjunction will take place on 28.06.2096. This will disrupt connection between earth and mars for a 2 week period.
Hence, showing the disrupted connection and the problems with broadcasting the games was fundamental to this branding.

Starting from the disrupted olympic logo and using that design language in the rest of the branding.
Pixel distortion and noise were the 2 main elements in this branding. In the posters the hard edges between colors together with the pixel distortion put even more emphasis on the lack of connection.
Pushing the distortion even further in the website and the installation.
